Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

We provide all equipment including mats, blocks, straps and bolsters.

When should I arrive for a class?

Please arrive ten minutes before the class is due to start so you can get settled in.

If you are late you will disturb the other students especially as we often start with some quiet meditation.

What should I wear?

Loose comfortable clothing you can move in. You don’t wear socks during yoga but you may want them and a nice warm jumper for relaxation at the end of a class.

Do I need to book?

Our evening and weekend classes do get full on occasion so it’s worth booking.

If you don’t have a pass it is cheaper to book and pay online before arriving.

I'm a complete beginner, which classes are suitable?

We advise if you have never done yoga before to do our 4 week beginners course. We also have a number of classes during the week that are suitable for beginners, look out for beginner yoga or hatha yoga on our timetable.

I'm pregnant, can I attend classes?

Yoga is not recommended for your first trimester, if you are in your second or third trimester we have pregnancy classes held every Thursday night at 6:30pm.

If you would like to attend one of our other classes please contact the teacher before attending to ensure relevant adjustments can be made.

Where can I park?

Parking is available in our car park and at the front of the building for up to 2 hours. Outside office hours you can park at the back or in the car park across the road.
