Dear Yoga Friends,
We hope that you are all keeping well. As we wait to hear from the government we are making tentative plans around re-opening. Our online classes have been going really well with so many of you joining us and keeping up your yoga practices. We will definitely keep the online classes going once we do reopen so you will always have that flexibility of practicing with us in the studio or at home. We want to hear from you about how you are feeling about returning to regular classes so if you have time to take our online survey that would be fantastic and really help us make the best decisions moving forwards. As soon as we know when we can open we will let you know.

We are doing our very best to bring you great classes online and we think our teachers have been doing a wonderful job. Connecting with our community is definitely the best part of teaching and we want to keep bringing you content that inspires and motivates you to get on your yoga mat. We have a few guest teachers coming up over the next few weeks alongside our regular timetable

Joyful Backbends with Isabel live from Holland
Sunday 14th June 10am-11.15am
Join Issy for a strong vinyasa flow class, using flowing sequences and loops mixed in with fun Forrest Yoga poses. We will move slowly deeper into backbending and allow the body to warm up and open up. Backbends can be great ways of experiencing joy, but it can also feel scary to open up and reach back. We will explore how to move safely in and out of backbends and how to use our breath to help the areas in our body that feel tight or restricted, to release and liven up. After flowing in and out of backbends the practise will then cool down and move into a sweet shavasana where we can take in the more subtle sensations and energy within ourselves. We are delighted to welcome Issy back via zoom to Leeds and know you will enjoy this heart opening and energising experience!!

Summer Solstice and International Yoga Day. You know we want the whole world to do yoga and meditate and on this day especially you can guarantee there will be a lot of yoga happening all over the world. Save the Date: Joe Kara is back on 10th July Live from L.A!!
We knew you would love Joe and you did!! We had a tremendous response to his class last month so he will be returning at 4pm live and then the prerecord will be up at 6.30pm on the 10th July. Joe manages to teach a strong vinyasa class with a beautiful blend of philosophy to keep you motivated.

Looking at the future
It’s a very unsettling time for all of us right now and at the studio and we are doing our best to make plans for the future. One issue is how we can afford to keep hold of our building with the current Covid19 restrictions in place. Our idea moving forwards is to open the studio up for artists and the local community projects. We want the building to get used more so we are fundraising to do just this.
