Krissy has been teaching yoga since 2001, having trained with the British Wheel of Yoga. She went on to complete pregnancy yoga training and has taught Pregnancy yoga classes at the Yoga space since it opened in 2004,during which time she also had her third child and started teaching baby yoga classes as well. Having experienced the demands of being a new mother herself, Krissy felt there was a real need for postnatal care and started a postnatal yoga class at the Yoga space to provide new mothers with time to heal and strengthen, plus care for themselves at the same time as looking after their babies.
She also regularly runs Partner workshops for pregnant women and their partners to share their yoga practice and prepare for birth together.
Krissy also specialises in women’s yoga, teaching yoga for Women’s Health Matters groups, young adults at the Market Space and working for the Positive Care Programme for Touchstone. She finds in yoga ways in which she can help people of all ages and physical abilities, using breathing techniques, relaxation practises as well as movement.
Krissy teaches Pregnancy, Postnatal and Baby Yoga at the studio.
