Alignment- The Hips with Sarah Blenkhorn
A yoga workshop with a difference exploring alignment of some of the most popular yoga poses with the help of bamboo canes! With a focus on working on opening the hips this workshop will be fun and informative and it could take your practice to a different level!

Full description – For many yoga students (and teachers!) keeping the hip area open is an ongoing process and in order to facilitate this we will adopt the use bamboo canes to help us. As they are strong and flexible, (just like we would like to be), we will utilise their strength and flexibility to help us discover more about our own yoga practice. We will explore where we are currently working in our yoga poses and also experience where we can work towards for better alignment, suppleness and ease. In this way we can perhaps move to a place in our practice that we don’t always realise we can go to thus enabling a deeper release in those tighter held areas. This can lead to a sense of relief and new found freedom in the body and provide feelings of rejuvenation and sense of well-being.
Suitable for all levels, including beginners, Sarah is an experienced teacher who likes to have fun in her yoga practice and enjoys experimenting with new ideas and concepts to keep her practice and teaching alive and fresh!
