1pm-1.45pm Power Yoga with Helena Byles
A nice strong class to boost your energy. Definitely a class for students with some yoga experience- Helena will have you smiling and sweating for sure!!
Helena is a very well known teacher in Leeds and a bit of a mover and shaker on the Yorkshire Yoga scene.
5.30pm-6.30pm Restorative Yoga with Alex from Unity Yoga
Restorative Yoga is a unique and profound form of Yoga. In this practice we aim to create a complete system of support in postures so every pose makes the body feel held and nurtured. This practice aids physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Bringing balance by calming the nervous system and allowing the inner functions of the body to rest, digest and heal. While some restorative yoga poses are beneficial to the entire body, others target specific parts of the body or systems within it. It is a very holistic practice, focusing on mind, body, energy and spirit together.
Based in Sheffield Unity Yoga is a wonderful studio right in the heart of the city centre set up by Sophia Senior and Lydia Ainscough. With a strong emphasis on vinyasa yoga, ayurveda and healing practices we love everything this studio is about.
